Upholstery Seamstress

Per4max is looking for a hard-working individual for an Upholsterer Position.

In this Upholsterer position you will support the daily operation of Upholstery Department, producing upholstery for custom wheelchairs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sewing with industrial machines
• Working with nylon, leather, vinyl, Velcro, and different types of foams
• Cutting fabric
• Sewing fabric
• Cutting foam
• Fabricating upholstery, including backrests, cushions, seat slings, and straps
• Report and/or correct discrepancies, following processes to correct them quickly and accurately
• Perform general shop duties, and special projects as directed
• Provide support to other departments as needed
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Adhere to safety procedures
• As business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary

• Skill in using cutting tools
• Skill in using measuring devices
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Ability to work well; independently and with team members
